USRA at 50 - A Legacy in Space Science

In 2019, the Universities Space Research Association (USRA) marked its 50th anniversary—five decades of advancing space science, engineering, and technology in partnership with NASA and leading research institutions around the world.  In partnership with Globestream Media, MAXMedia Partners created the signature video centerpiece for USRA's anniversary conference, where national leaders, scientific partners, and agency representatives convened to honor the organization’s legacy and define their vision for the next half-century.​

Our Role

MAXMedia Partners led the full creative and production effort, including concept development, scripting, storyboarding, field production, and final editorial.

 

Working closely with our broadcast partner Globestream Media and teams of USRA scientists and engineers, we committed to producing a film that was both compelling and scientifically precise.

 

Every milestone, innovation, and mission depicted in the piece was vetted for technical accuracy and historical alignment.

  • Core concept and narrative architecture for a 10-minute commemorative film

  • Scriptwriting and storyboarding depicting USRA’s scientific history

  • Full post-production, motion graphics, archival integration, and color finishing

  • Delivery of a polished master for conference presentation and long-term use

The video continues to be used by USRA as a legacy asset, reinforcing its mission and celebrating the organization’s contributions to space exploration and scientific advancement.
